These Terms of Service govern your use of the Fit-to-Token Chrome extension.

1. Description of the service

Fit-to-Token is a Chrome extension that overlays the ChatGPT web interface with an ambient eco-feedback widget. It connects physical activity data, such as energy or calorie expenditure, to a replenishable prompt-energy allowance that is spent by prompting and recharged through activity. The extension is intended for personal reflection, research, and educational feedback.

2. No medical advice

Fit-to-Token is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, fitness, nutritional, or exercise advice. Any activity, calorie, and energy calculations shown by the extension are estimates and should not be used for medical decisions.

3. User responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the extension and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws, platform rules (including those of ChatGPT and OpenAI), and university or workplace policies.

4. Data access

Some features require permission to access Google Health API data or compatible health and activity data. The extension also reads the content of your ChatGPT conversations locally in your browser to estimate token and energy usage. You can revoke Google account access at any time through your Google Account settings, and you can remove the extension at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the extension, attempt to interfere with its operation, access data without permission, or use the extension for unlawful purposes.

6. Availability and accuracy

The extension is provided “as is” without guarantees that it will always be available, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Token, activity, and energy calculations are estimates and may differ from actual values.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
